Summer tourism boost recorded in Altea

Altea saw 239,539 visitors over the month of August – a 70% increase on last year, according to a report produced by Kido Dinamics, carried out on behalf of Hosteltur.

The data was collected through telephone antennas which provided information such as which country users are from, where they stayed, and places they visited. Local tourism officials welcomed the boost that the numbers provided for the local economy.
