New season starts for CBMW

THE COSTA Blanca Mountain Walkers started their 33rd season of mountain walking with seven walks from Parcent with beautiful views of the Jalón valley and surrounding mountains. The walks ranged from easy to very strenuous, each walk with a maximum of 10 walkers in adherence to Covid rules. Some of the walks were so popular they had to be split into two groups. The start of the season lunch is one of the most special events of the social calendar and though not possible this year it did not deter many of the walkers who had celebratory lunches together in their groups of ten where party atmospheres prevailed with fun and laughter. As always there was much to catch up on after the long summer break.
