The wonders of rice
THERE is more to Spanish rice than paella, which has become a generic word that, unfortunately, undersells the multitude of imaginative and delicious rice dishes that are available in the Valencia region.
The ninth Benidorm local rice days, which are taking place from October 1725, will allow both the initiated and uninitiated to open a Pandora’s boxfull of gastronomic delights that do this humble pulse justice.
The initiative features a total of 18 bars and restaurants who will be offering a threecourse meal, including a specially prepared rice dish, with drinks for € 23 per person.
