TRIBUTETO OUR PRECIOUS SHAFI JAINUDEEN

-

There is not a day that goes by of late that in our hearts we know one thing… the words, ‘see you tomorrow’ or ’call you tomorrow’ will never dawn, as on a winter evening in Melbourne, Australia, when Shafi passed away peacefully, in our presence.

As the oldest son he was loved by our parents Meer Sahib and Marliya, and was the apple of our mother’s eye.

Gone before to that silent shore he was too young to die, but fate decreed otherwise. Passed away having completed his course, the noble deeds remain in our hearts concealed and most esteemed in his ways he was simple, yes, his knowledge so profound.

For all the happy times we’ve shared with one another, for things you’ve done to make us glad. And we are proud that you were our brother.

For countless times we’ve meant to show the love, we feel for you. Nothing will be forgotten.

When you entered any place your presence lit up with an ever present ‘smile’ on a well loved face.

Thank you for being our brother, a friend and a wonderful, loving, caring and warm hearted human being.

Goodbye … precious Shafi

‘Your candle burnt out long before your legend ever did’. Those we hold dear never leave us, always fondly remembered with a special prayer. ‘Lord, enfold him in Your love and keep him safely in Your care’ Mazaya, Merle and
