ACL Cables launches new products

-

In 1962, ACL Cables commenced its pioneering journey, as Associated Cables, with the capabilities of Mitsui Japan, in the areas of technology, machinery and resources. The foundation thus laid, ensured that the organization considered quality as sacrosanct, and the pioneering spiritthepartof theteamsDNA.

ACL Electric, a subsidiary company of the group, announced the launch of the ACL Switches and Sockets, to complement the world class cables manufactured by the group. “It is a very natural evolution for our business, we possess the know how and the capability to introduce another great product , to meet the needs of the user, therefore moving into this business was a given,” said Suren Madanayake – Managing Directorof ACLCables.

Introducing the new range to the market the Sales Manager - Rohan Daluwatte said, “Through extensive research we discovered that the consumer is not very happy with the products available in the market. Whilst a switch, just like the cable used in wiring is expected to last a long time that is available today does not conform to the expectations. Many complain that the switch gives away and has to be replaced in a couple of years.” He further added “The main reason for this is that the quality of material , component used in the manufacturing process are not the best. Therefore over a period of time the product tends to give away. On the other hand our product is made using the best quality brass components and silver as the contact point. Even the gauge of the material used is much higher and you can feel it when you hold an ACL switch. Our switches have already been certified for quality by the PSB Singapore in addition to the local SLS standards”

ACL Switches and sockets will be available across the island in over6500storeswithinthemonth and the discerning consumers now have the opportunity to use them with a life time guarantee from the 50 year old giant in cable manufacturing.

“This is our commitment to our customers, we believe it is our duty to provide them with the best quality products at all times,“added Suren Madanayake.
