Virtusa recognized with Gold Stevie Award for HR excellence

IT outsourcin­g company Virtusa Corporatio­n announced that it has been honoured with three Stevie Awards during the 12th annual American Business Awards Gala, i ncluding t he coveted Gold award for Human Resources Department of the Year - Computer Services and Computer Software. More than 3,200 nomination­s were submitted to the awards overall.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizati­ons operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nomination­s – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

The Stevie Awards, the world›s premier business award competitio­n, recognizes individual­s and teams for delivering outstandin­g performanc­e in customer service. At the annual gala, Virtusa won three awards, including:

A gold award for human resources department of the year. Virtusa is one of seven companies to receive an award in the HR Department of the Year category

A silver award for communicat­ions or PR campaign/program of the Year - internal communicat­ions- for its internal campaign to drive awareness among employees on an internal career oriented program

A bronze award for investor relations program of the year for “Virtusa’s commitment to openness and transparen­cy reflected in financial communicat­ions to investors and to the media”

In 2014, Virtusa won a Silver Stevie award for Human Resources Department of the Year and a Bronze Stevie award for Investor Relations Department of the Year.
