Bee attack on Sirimavo students in Kandy

At least 78 people including students and teachers of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo were admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital yesterday following a wild bee attack.

The students who were on a picnic to the Kandy Hindagala Temple when they came under the bee attack.

Some 38 of them had left the hospital after receiving treatment, while hospital sources said the condition of the rest including students, teachers and parents was not critical.
