Air Force), Shakeela Gunawardena (Australia), father-in-law of Dr. Anusha Guruge (Australia), Priyantha Jayawickrama (S.L. Air Force), Brian Mangundhla (Australia), loving grandfather of Naushikha, Anupi, Poorni, Lahiru, Tapfuma, Aaron, loving brother of late Prof. Kusuma Gunawardena, Nanda Gunawardena, Prof. Jaya Gunawardena, Kamala Gunawardena, Chithra Gunawardena, late Yasa Gunawardena, late Pura Gunawardena and Gamini Gunawardena, passed away on 21.2.17. Remains lie at 192/1 School Lane, Ihala Karagahamuna, Kadawatha. Funeral on 23.02.17. VIVIENNE (nee Vannitamby). Born 1.4.1928, passed away peacefully on the 19th of February in Sydney, Australia. Wife of the late Fred Christie – David, most loved mother of Clement, Harold, Deanna Sathanandan, Shirani Cullen, Trevor and Noel. Mother-in-law of Shiranie, Daphne, Shankar, Ramani and Selvi, (All of Sydney, Australia), much loved grandmother of Dinuke, Aaron, Shaun, Vinod, Sujith, Andrea, Deshanie, Sean, Marcus, Tara, Damien, Eden, Darshika, Nirosha, late Christopher, Anita and Shane and loving great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren, sister of Douglas, Elmo, Lloyd, Noeline, James and John (all deceased), sister-in-law of Leela, late Sarojini, Doris, Leela and late Beaulah. May her soul rest in peac. Funeral service to take place at St. Anne’s Anglican Church (Cnr Beresford Rd and 42 Homebush Road), Strathfield on Saturday the 25th February at 10.00 a. m. and thereafter for cremation at Rookwood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium South Chapel, Memorial Avenue, Rookwood Cemetery.
