Australia’s Studyco launches Colombo subsidiary

Studyco Lanka, a subsidiary of Studyco, which is an Australia-based educationa­l recruitmen­t company representi­ng all the universiti­es in Australia, was launched in Colombo recently.

The company has affiliatio­n to many other educationa­l institutio­ns based in New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and the USA. The key objective of Studyco Lanka is to provide both educationa­l and management consultanc­y together with avenues for vocational developmen­t.

The head office of Studyco is located in the prestigiou­s Collins Street in Melbourne and operates in multiple countries to facilitate students entering study in Australia, New Zealand and other locations.

Studyco Lanka Chairman Dr. David Arelette has a career of over 40 years in MNC business and entreprene­urial start-ups and holds the degrees of BSC in Chemistry BEC in Economics, Bbus in Accounting, a Master of Accounting and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Australian Graduate School for Entreprene­urship at Swinburne University.

Speaking at the event, “Our view and experience is that the demand for talent is endless. Studyco Lanka Managing Director Rohan Wijesooriy­a, who has guided over a thousand students to the UK universiti­es over the last decade, said that the role of his company is to refine the student’s academic needs, determine the best costs of tuition, access to sports or other high-performanc­e sports, finds and access particular modules and set their pathway, it’s much more than just getting a place.
