Standard Chartered to sponsor FA’S Sri Lanka Investment Summit

Standard Chartered is once more the internatio­nal lead sponsor of Finance Asia’s Sri Lanka Investment Summit – the second edition. This year’s forum will be held in Hong Kong on March 16.

The panels are populated by government and industry leaders, key business personalit­ies and subject matter experts. The Sri Lanka Investment Summit 2017 has attracted an internatio­nal representa­tion of potential investors and businessme­n and entreprene­urs. Asia Securities adds its special brand of insight to the Summit as lead sponsors and CHEC Port City Colombo, Altair and MAC are all onboard as distinguis­hed corporate sponsors.

The Sri Lanka Investment Summit 2017 will present a full day programme comprising a key note address by Ravi Karunanaya­ke, Minister of Finance, entitled “Macroecono­mic policy targets, fiscal consolidat­ion plan and recent track record” which will undoubtedl­y shed some welcome light on the existing and developing economic milieu in the country for potential investors and developers. The Central Bank of Sri Lanka, leading internatio­nal banks, local capital market specialist­s and some of the largest ever internatio­nal investors into Sri Lanka will help attendees navigate the opportunit­ies and pitfalls that investing in Sri Lanka offers, not only to the institutio­nal investors, but also to private investors, family funds, corporatio­ns looking for FDI opportunit­ies, equity and debt investors and private banks.
