Huawei becomes fastest growing Smartphone in Sri Lanka

Huawei announced it was recorded as the fastest growing smartphone brand with a market share of more than 30 percent as at December 2016.

Propelling further the brand’s exclusivit­y within the smartphone market globally, Huawei had also made it to higher rank as one of the most valuable brands for the year 2017 under Brand Finance the Global 500, as the number 40 brand in the list.

Huawei chose to associate their brand with Singer Sri Lanka due to its brand reputation that was evident amongst the Sri Lankan public. Having started from zero base in 2012, Singer had successful­ly assisted in propelling Huawei’s brand image and market share to over 30 percent by the third quarter of 2016, according to latest analysis from user experience research experts GFK.

Matching its aggressive sales promotions, Huawei has also expanded its Service Centres across the country in key locations such as Bambalapit­iya, Anuradhapu­ra, Galle and Jaffna.
