Felicitation event at Namal Uyana tomorrow

Sri Lanka’s largest Ironwood forest and Pink quartz mountain range will be celebrating 26 years since it was founded by Ven. Wanawasi Rahula Thera who played a vital role to preserve and safeguard this for the future generations.

Ven. Wanawasi Rahula Thera will hold a special ceremony on March 28 at Namal Uyana, in Dambulla in remembrance of all media personnel. and others who contributed to protect and safeguard the national ironwood forest and pink quartz mountain range.
