NAVY LASSES RECORD THREE SUCCESSIVE WINS

The Women’s limited over cricket tournament which got underway last week saw the defense forces teams having a successful run so far. The Navy lasses have been the most successful as they have won all three matches that they have played.

They began with a convincing ten wicket win against the Air Force ‘B’ side and then went on to record wins against Army ‘B’ by nine wickets and Colts by 120 runs.

Air Force ‘A’ Women have won the two matches that they have played against Seenigama Ladies by a massive 168 runs and against Army ‘A’ by 63 runs while Air Force ‘B’ and Army ‘A’ were the other two teams to win a game each.
