PC injured in Ganja raid

BULATHSINHALA

A police constable was injured when a team of police officers came under assault by a suspect during a raid on a house in Godellawatta in Bulathsinghala to seize a stock of Ganja. The suspect had assaulted the PC with a kitchen knife causing him injuries. However, the suspect had fled from the area after the incident.

Police said the suspect had been on remand for possessing hand bombs and released recently .
