Malagamuwa wins in Italy

Sri Lanka’s Dilantha Malagamuwa has won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Class LC race on Saturday in Monza, Italy. Malagamuwa, the only Sri Lanka driver of international repute drove his Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo in the Class LC event alongside his co-driver A. Josephsohn in the 25 lap race. Malagamuwa recorded the fastest lap time of the class of 51:13.898 in the 24th lap with an average speed of 186.4 Kmph. After the race Malagamuwa posted in his Facebook page “Today I won the first race at Monza circuit in Italy. To win here is a dream come true. So many Sri Lankans living in Italy came to support me. So happy and proud to be a Sri Lankan,” he wrote.
