Ananda, Nalanda, record outright wins
U-15 Cricket Tournament
Traditional rivals Ananda College and Nalanda College recorded outright wins in their Inter-schools Under-15 Division One Cricket Tournament matches played yesterday.
Ananda coasted to an innings and 48-run win over Basilica College Ragama while Nalanda secured a ten-wicket win over Piliyandala Central.
In the other matches Wesley College, St. Benedict’s College, Royal College Colombo, St. Joseph’s College, Holy Cross College Kalutara, and Bandaranayake MMV Gampaha won their respective matches. At Ragama Basilica Ragama 61 (Sajith de Silva 6/8, Vinuka Damsith 3/11) and 52 (Vinuka Damsith 5/9)
