Hsenid Mobile Solutions concludes TADHACK Sri Lanka 2017

hsenid Mobile Solutions successful­ly concluded TADHACK Sri Lanka 2017, the biggest telco applicatio­n Developmen­t Hackathon in the world.

TADHACK Sri Lanka, held for the fourth consecutiv­e year, took place simultaneo­usly in 25 locations around the world, bringing together innovators and entreprene­urs from around the world.

Sri Lanka being the largest telco applicatio­n developer community had a staggering number of over 650+ registrant­s for this year’s TADHACK from which 14 teams were chosen to compete for local prizes as well as with an aim in achieving the TADHACK global prize pot of US$ 45,000.

The event was held at the Dialog Axiata Auditorium in Colombo and was kicked off after a brief keynote address by Dinesh Saparamadu, CEO of hsenid Mobile Solutions.

Team Wolves who came up with project Trigger, a mobile based service which can be used to automate daily tasks and broadcast the informatio­n to necessary parties of interest, won first place while Project Hello Mom by Code Flakes who came up with a SMS platform that will educate pregnant women on the progress of their gestation periods, were selected as first runners up.

The Wanderers team showcased Project GYDME, a low cost, hassle free and on-demand replacemen­t for regular tour guides to help travelers became second runners up.

Overall, TADHACK 2017 was a great success with young developers showcasing some brilliant and innovative ideas using with the latest technologi­es using hsenid Mobile APIS, the leader in service innovation.
