Fast and furious Nations Sports Day 2017

Nations Trust Bank Sports Day 2017 was held recently under the theme ‘Fast and Furious’ at Havelock Sports Club Grounds.

In keeping with the theme of the day, the Guest of Honour at the event was Dilantha Malagamuwa, renowned Sri Lankan racing driver who proudly carries the National flag across the globe in his racing pursuits.

Nations Sports Day is an annual event organised by the bank to not only provide the sportsmen and women an opportunit­y to showcase their sporting talents but also to connect with the fellow staff members in an informal surroundin­g.

At Nations Trust Bank, the support provided for various sports have enabled staff members to continue their sports activities well into their mid-career lives. The bank also is proud to mention that they have competed and won many a mercantile tournament­s in number of games and boasts having quite a few players in their ranks that have either represente­d or are representi­ng Sri Lanka in their chosen fields of sport.
