India, SL out of semi-finals
U-19 Asia Cup Cricket Tourney
The defending champions India and Sri Lanka were knocked out from the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Under-19 Cricket Tournament which is now in progress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Bangladesh remained as the only unbeaten team as they qualified to play in the semi-finals with a stunning eight-wicket win over India yesterday.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan denied Sri Lanka a chance of playing in the semi-finals as they beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 134 runs.
The semi-finals will be played on November 16 and 17 at the Kinrara Academy Oval with Bangladesh meeting Nepal and Afghanistan clashing with Pakistan. The final is slotted to be played on November 19 at the same venue.
