In­dia, SL out of semi-fi­nals

The de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons In­dia and Sri Lanka were knocked out from the semi-fi­nals of the Asia Cup Un­der-19 Cricket Tour­na­ment which is now in progress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Bangladesh re­mained as the only un­beaten team as they qual­i­fied to play in the semi-fi­nals with a stun­ning eight-wicket win over In­dia yes­ter­day.

Mean­while, Afghanistan de­nied Sri Lanka a chance of play­ing in the semi-fi­nals as they beat the United Arab Emi­rates (UAE) by 134 runs.

The semi-fi­nals will be played on Novem­ber 16 and 17 at the Kin­rara Academy Oval with Bangladesh meet­ing Nepal and Afghanistan clash­ing with Pak­istan. The fi­nal is slot­ted to be played on Novem­ber 19 at the same venue.
