NTB recognises outstanding retail banking performers
Nations Trust Bank held its annual Retail Banking Awards Ceremony for the year 2017 at Stein Studio on February 24th 2018.
It was held under the theme ‘Mastering Basics, Achieving Excellence’ and seeks to recognise and reward outstanding performances by retail banking staff during the year.
The best individuals and teams across over 50 categories were recognised at the event, which was followed by cocktails, fellowship and a fabulous dinner. Spectacular entertainment added excitement to the glitz and glamour of the evening. High ranking members of the bank’s senior management including the CEO of Nations Trust Bank Renuka Fernando were present at the event.
Speaking at the event, Nations Trust Bank Branches Network Senior Vice President Sheahan Daniel said: “Today you need passion and drive to succeed. You need to be willing to give it everything and emerge as a champion. Through the retail banking awards, we seek to reward and encourage these qualities and recognise exceptional performers with our branch teams. Our focus in the coming year will be on delivering a truly exceptional, unique and seamless customer experience whilst improving efficiency levels in fulfilling customer expectation. I’m sure that annual events such as this and the accolades that have been handed out will motivate our teams to deliver their best and make it happen.”
More than 1000 members of Nations Trust Bank’s Retail Banking team from across the island came together at the Retail Banking Awards 2017. The most coveted awards for the best branch ‘High Growth, Drive and Extra’ category were won by the teams at Nations Trust Bank’s branches in Kaduruwela, Piliyandala and Thalawathugoda respectively.
Some of the other prestigious awards that were handed out at the ceremony were the awards for Best Branch Manager and Best Zone Manager.
