Serenia Residences to kick off next month

The much awaited Serenia Residences beachfront residentia­l developmen­t project is to kick off next month and to be completed by December 2019.

The private beachfront mixed developmen­t project located in Talpe, Galle comprises of million-dollar beach villas ranging from US$1 to US$5 million in an area of 180 perches developed by Access Projects.

Serenia Limited, a BOI approved company will offer 47 apartment beachfront residentia­l developmen­t and 10 roomed five-star boutique hotel. Starting from US$210 per square-foot for a spacious 1,382 squarefoot, two bedroom residence suite, Serenia Residences offers the exclusivit­y one deserves.

Speaking at the event held at Shangri-la Hotel, Colombo, to announce the commenceme­nt of the project, Serenia Ltd Director Dilshan Kodituwakk­u said that this project provides a unique developmen­t opportunit­y in the south of Sri Lanka and is the only apartment residence so far, that provides private beach living, where residents can step out directly on to the beach and then ocean.

“Resort living is our primary propositio­n, creating a home where every detail is taken care of and the interest is expected to come from owneroccup­iers including local/ expatriate profession­al singles, couples and families, along with empty nesters downsizing from Colombo and also wealthy expatriate­s who have an affiliatio­n with Galle, Sri Lanka,” he added.

There will also be 100 metres of private beach frontage with direct access from Galle – Matara road to the property consisting of two towers of Ground+9 and Ground+8.

Galle is the capital city of the southern coast which is a 15-minute drive from Serenia Residences, Talpe – Galle. Galle Fort today is one of Sri Lanka’s most evocative tourist attraction­s. A decade of renovation and rejuvenati­on, along with helpful funding from UNESCO, has turned Galle Fort into a time capsule where travellers can enjoy themselves in numerous bars, restaurant­s, and shops that cater to their modern needs.

Unawatuna, located just three minutes from Serenia Residences boasts of some of the best surfing beaches in the country, Mirissa, known for its beautiful bay and whale and dolphin watching is just a 25-minute drive and Hikkaduwa a well-known tourist town just 25 minutes away is famous for diving, nightlife and dining on the beach.

A wide range of services including valet parking, housekeepi­ng, 24-hour attended lobby, room service, security and maintenanc­e are offered, with ground level Garden Villas offering private pools, courtyards and direct beach access.

The beautifull­y designed rooftop terraces of the twolevels Custom Sky Penthouses will be equipped with a private infinity pool with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and Galle. European kitchens, lighting, wood and tile flooring, fittings and fixtures will be utilised for the entire project making it elegant and long lasting. Furniture packages will be offered to all clients including those who wish to rent their apartments after handover.
