HNB Grameen Finance signs MOU with Unimo Enterprise­s

HNB Grameen Finance Ltd recently signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with Unimo Enterprise­s Ltd, the fully owned subsidiary of United Motors Lanka PLC and sole distributo­r for a range of automotive brands ranging from Perodua compact cars from Malaysia, Z100 compact cars, to DFSK MPV’S Jinbei Vans and JMC commercial vehicles from China.

The agreement was signed between HNB Grameen Finance Ltd Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, B.M.D.C. Prabath and United Motors Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Chanaka Yatawara at the Unimo Enterprise­s Head Office in Colombo 02.

Through this agreement, Unimo Customers will be offered a host of benefits including attractive leasing packages for Perodua, Z100, DFSK, Jinbei and JMC vehicles, lowest interest rates, personaliz­ed one-day service, doorstep assistance, minimal documentat­ion and residual balance leases designed to suit customers’ budgets and incomes.

Subsequent­ly, Unimo Enterprise­s will offer HNB Grameen Finance Ltd customers special discounts for selected vehicles (up to Rs.100, 000) and unmatched warranty periods.

Commenting on the momentous new partnershi­p, Prabath said: “We are excited to be partnering with Unimo Enterprise­s to offer unparallel­ed discounts and an assortment of special benefits to our clients through this win-win venture. We a r e c o n f i d e n t t h a t t h r o u g h partnershi­ps of this nature, we will be able to offer more flexible and innovative leasing solutions to all Sri Lankans and help them achieve their dream of owning own set of wheels.”
