AVIC-ENG donates necessities to kindergartens in Colombo and Matara

China National Aerotechnology International Engineering Corporation (AVICENG), a subsidiary under AVIC International Holding Corporation (AVIC-INTL) donated necessities and teaching equipments to a girls’ home and a kindergarten in Colombo and Matara respectively, on April 5th and 6th 2018.

The donation ceremonies, held under the theme ‘Let Love Hold up the Future’, took place at Lawris Girls’ Home at Colombo and the Sigithi Kindergarten in Matara before the coming new year.

Lawris Girls’ Home Secretary Harini expressed gratitude to AVIC-ENG on behalf of the orphanage. She said that they are pleased to receive donations and are grateful for five years of continuous support from AVICENG. Sigithi Kindergarten Principal Dayaseeli also expressed her excitement and gratitude toward AVIC-ENG’S generous donations

AVIC-ENG has been performing its corporate social responsibilities since 2010, when it undertook the first project of Improvement and Rehabilitation of A09 Road in Northern conflict area. The company also was the contractor who had successfully completed the Runway Overlay and Associated Works Project ahead of the schedule in 2017.

AVIC-ENG also invested US$250 million for Astoria Apartment Development Project, to provide the luxurious apartments and office building in Colombo 03, where the first phase will be handed over to the client soon, and will be one of the landmarks in Colombo presenting more beauty and modernisation to the landscape of the city.
