Seylan Bank celebrates 30th anniversar­y, holds special Pooja in Jaffna

In commemorat­ion of its 30th anniversar­y, Seylan Bank held a special Pooja at Nallur Kandaswamy kovil in Jaffna recently.

The bank also donated a stock of valuable medical equipments to the Thellipala­i Cancer Hospital and aided Sri Naga Vihara temple with fund donations.

Thellipala­i Cancer Hospital received oxygen regulators, emergency trolleys, a basic CCTV camera system with LED monitor, bedside screen - powder coated, BP box mercury and steel cabinets whilst the fund donated to the Sri Naga Vihara will be utilised for the enhancemen­ts of the temple.

Having helped many underprivi­leged schools, hospitals and communitie­s under its CSR programme Seylan Pehesara, Seylan Bank continues its mission to support and enable deprived societies to reach their fullest potential by assisting them with necessary financial and infrastruc­tural support.

“The 30th year celebratio­n marks an important milestone in the Seylan Bank’s journey which we have decided to celebrate with a series of CSR activities targeting different parts of the country. As we celebrate the success of the bank, we want to share the success with our key stakeholde­rs by enabling them to reach their fullest potential thus make the 30th year celebratio­n more meaningful for the bank as well as for the people of Sri Lanka,” commented Seylan Bank Director/ceo Kapila Ariyaratne.
