NTB strives to be most innovative and responsive bank in Sri Lanka
Nations Trust Bank (NTB), one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing licensed commercial banks, strives to be the most innovative and responsive bank, propelling customers forward by understanding each individual’s financial position and current ‘stage in life’ to provide relevant services.
In line with its enthusiastic approach to customer convenience and facilitation, the bank recently conducted a competition under the theme ‘Your Dream, Our Goal’, which encouraged fans and customers to post their dreams on Facebook and have the opportunity to win interest-free loans. The best three were chosen and by the public and each of them received an interest-free loan of Rs.1 million.
“The concept of ‘Your Dream, Our Goal’ was crafted in line with the corporate vision and as a culmination of years of striving towards making the dreams of our customers come alive,” said NTB Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Shaan Wickremesinghe.
“We are always looking at how we can facilitate the realisation of customer aspirations. The competition was a huge success and demonstrated the bank’s commitment to the realisation of customer dreams and our vision to help people and businesses achieve today’s goals and tomorrow’s aspirations.”
NTB spearheads digital innovation and fintech as this competition is one of its many initiatives and services provided to ease the process and provide customer convenience and satisfaction.
Frimi, Sri Lanka’s first fully digital banking and payments platform, Kaffeine Labs, Sri Lanka’s first innovation centre in the financial sector, pioneered supermarket banking alongside 365 banking and late hours banking, which NTB was first to introduce, to name a few.
The corporate heads of NTB’S businesses, including NTB Consumer Banking and American Express Cards Senior Executive Vice President Priyantha Talwatte, NTB SME Banking Senior Executive Vice President Bandara Jayathileke, NTB Leasing Executive Vice President Priyantha Wijesekera, NTB Group Company Secretary and General Counsel Theja Silva and NTB Human Resources Executive Vice President Ramanika Unamboowe also expressed how their own business units are contributing towards achieving customer dreams and keeping with the spirit of ‘Your Dream, Our Goal’.
