Seylan Bank celebrates 30th anniversary with Holy Mass in Thanksgiving at Negombo
In commemoration of the 30th anniversary, Seylan Bank held a special Holy Mass in Thanksgiving at the St Joseph’s Church, Thilannduwa Malwatte, Negombo on April 28, 2018.
The Holy Mass was conducted by Rev. Fr. Freely Muthukudaarachchi and Rev. Fr. Sandasiri Perera.
Seylan Bank Director/ceo Kapila Ariyaratne, board of directors, corporate management, staff and their families along with the banks customers and well-wishers attended the Holy Mass. The bank also made a donation towards the charitable projects of the church.
An all-night Pirith ceremony followed by an alms giving at the Seylan Bank head office premises and a special Pooja at the Nallur Kovil has already been conducted as anniversary initiatives and the Islam religious event is scheduled to take place in Puttalam shortly. The main religious events are coupled with a series of CSR activities around the country.
