Eagle Express joined hands With European courier giant GLS

Eagle Global Express joined hands with GLS which is one of the leading parcel service providers in Europe.

Over 70 central and regional transhipme­nt points throughout Europe and more than 1,000 depots are at the disposal of GLS, currently network delivers 1.5 million parcels inside Europe everyday.

Modern distributi­on centres are linked to each other via line hauls. About 26,000 vehicles are on Europe’s roads for GLS on a daily basis. In addition, the group uses air freight connection­s. Dense national networks ensure the reliable delivery of shipments in the countries. Quality in parcel service has top priority for the group - over 270,000 customers rely on it. In the process, GLS puts great emphasis on sustainabi­lity: The ‘Think Green’ initiative consolidat­es all Europewide activities to protect the environmen­t.

GLS covers 41 European countries and seven U.S. states with its parcel services, expanding the network capability to Lebanon, Jordan, Oman and Africa, while the majority is served via own subsidiari­es, GLS cooperates with reliable partners in several other states.

GLS headquarte­rs welcome to their new partner Eagle Global Express in Sri Lanka as they just signed the contract as a starting point and GLS group now very excited to enter into the operationa­l phase of the network connection, since GLS believes reliabilit­y is the passion.
