Amintha first Lankan recipient of GAFM, USA’S ‘Master Training and Developmen­t’ Certificat­ion

Amintha De Silva, customer relationsh­ip management and cross selling trainer, focusing on the banking sector, is the first Sri Lankan to receive the ‘Master Training and Developmen­t’ certificat­ion from Colorado, Usabased Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM).

De Silva has more than 25 years of banking experience and was trained by Mckinsey & Company, USA during his tenure at Emirates Bank Internatio­nal, Dubai, UAE. De Silva is currently Chief Visionary Officer of Vision 8 Academy and conducts training sessions locally and internatio­nally.

He has so far conducted training sessions almost at all the leading banks in Sri Lanka and Emirates Bank Internatio­nal, Middle East Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank in Dubai, UAE and Bank of Maldives, Maldives Islamic Bank in the Maldives.

He also functions as the prime coordinato­r of Interstell­ar Strategic Partners, which facilitate­s investment­s and strategic partnershi­ps and currently focusing promoting the Colombo Internatio­nal Financial City project and financial technology initiative­s among other.

De Silva received the ‘Master Training and Developmen­t’ Certificat­ion from GAFM at the Fintech Meetup of Asia-pacific Executives Forum, jointly organised by the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM) and GAFM, in collaborat­ion with Interstell­ar Strategic Partners and a number of other institutio­ns, at the Hilton, Colombo recently.
