NHRDC organises 4th career awareness programme in Monaragala District

National Human Resource Development Council of Sri Lanka (NHRDC), functioning under the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs has organised its fourth career motivation and career fair programme for school leaver and job seekers in collaboration with Department of Manpower and Employment, TVEC, EFC and District Secretariat.

This programme will be held on August 17, 2018, at 9:00a.m. onwards at Monaragala Library Auditorium.

This event focuses on reduce the number of unemployed, Facilitate job seekers to find work according to their professionalism, skills, talents and interests, helping the company to get qualified workforce, professional as per company requirements.

The organisers are expecting to invite relevant national and regional level industrial companies and relevant training institutions for the career fair programme who can fulfill demands and supply for the employability in different trades including: Textiles and garments, auto mobile, hotel and tourism, information and communication technology, construction, food technology and electronic and telecommunication engineering. The job fair programmes were already successfully conducted in Gampaha, Galle, Matale and Jaffna and more than 300 participants were recruited by the companies and Thousands of students are following the certificate courses.
