HNB signs MOU with Micro Cars to offer exclusive leasing packages

Sri Lanka’s premier financial solutions provider HNB PLC, signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with Micro Cars Limited to offer exclusive leasing packages with lowest interest rates for customers who intend to buy Micro Panda, BAIC Vehicles, Ssangyong MG SUVS.

HNB Head of PFS, Kanchana Karunagama, and Micro Cars Ltd, Director – Marketing, Ruvindhu Gunaratne. signed the MOU on behalf of both organizati­ons.

Addressing the gathering, HNB Senior Manager – Leasing, Nalin Dissanyake said: “This partnershi­p with Micro Cars will enable us to provide numerous benefits to our customers. As of late, we have seen a steady rise in the number of customers who wish to buy Micro products and hereafter we can offer them tailored leasing packages in addition to other benefits.”

HNB customers will be granted special price discounts for Micro Panda AMT, BAIC X25, D20, Ssangyong Tivoli & MG ZS respective­ly.

Speaking at the event, Gunaratne said:“we are pleased that we could offer affordable leasing solutions along with a host of other benefits as a result of this partnershi­p. Essentiall­y, our agreement with HNB allows us to make the Micro product portfolio more attractive to customers.”

Since making its first appearance on the prestigiou­s Banker Magazine’s list of Top 1,000 banks, HNB has today soared the top of the list among Sri Lankan banks in addition to being recognized as Bank of the Year 2018 and being awarded Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka for the 10th time at the Asian Banker Awards.

HNB also stands as the first local Bank in Sri Lanka to receive an internatio­nal rating on par with the sovereign from Moody’s Investor Services while maintainin­g a national long term rating of AA - (lka) from Fitch Ratings Lanka Ltd.

Micro Cars Limited inaugurate­d in 1995 as truly a home-grown automobile manufactur­er. It has grown from strength to strength over the last two decades. Today it has become one ofthe significan­t players in the Sri Lankan automobile industry. Having diversifie­d into a group of companies with Transmec Internatio­nal, Micro Constructi­on, Fujitec Lanka, Superlativ­e Properties and Euro Sports Auto, provided more than one thousand employment opportunit­ies. Micro Cars operate from 11 branches & 48 after sales service centres island-wide.
