at the time of passing one month of Glyphosate ban removal. The decision taken by the government is a wrong judgment taken by a good governance government. According to the judgment of the court, glyphosate has to be banned by every county including Sri Lanka. The minister emphasized the fact that Sri Lanka has to face economic difficulties if the tea exporters would say that SL tea dust includes cancer causing agents when Sri Lanka is going to cultivate tea using glyphosate.

In the meantime, the minister said that an easy and alternative way for dialysis treatment is CAPD solution (Contains Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis Solution)and it is going to be introduced for the kidney patients in the Rajarata. It can be done through an investment project. He expects to implement this project for the whole of Rajarata after obtaining cabinet approval. It is said to be a modern and easy methodology which had been initiated by the Minister of Health. For this methodology, one registered company has imported this liquid (CAPD Solution). Therefore, there was a shortage of this liquid and two other companies have been registered and arrangements had been made to import this liquid. These companies have imported this liquid to date and the necessary distributions are being made.
