A Yahapalana President in 2020: Sajith
One who becomes the President of this country in 2020 will also be one from the Yahapalana Camp, UNP Deputy Leader and Minister of Housing Sajith Premadasa said yesterday.
Mr. Premadasa said this at the opening of Siyapathagama reawaken village in the Galle district recently.
“Don’t get carried away by the 2020 presidential election as one who would be elected as the president would be from the Yahapalana camp. Accordingly the Yahapalana government will continue to rule this country till 2025” Mr. Premadasa said.
He said no one in the Yahapalana camp including the President and Prime Minister will push their family members to the top posts. “Has any one heard President and Prime Minister pushing their family members to the top posts?” he questioned.

elected. We in this government have planned programmes such as Gamperaliya, Grama Shakthi, Gam Udawa and Enterprise Sri Lanka. These programmes are progressing,” he added.
Mr. Premadasa said Siyapathagama is the 104th village to be opened so far. “We have already started work on 1000 villages and hope to complete them by 2019,” he said.
