:Some students want a transfer to an Australian University after completing only a part of their higher education in Sri Lanka. What is the service you provide in situations like these?
The university transfer program is for the students who are unable to go to Australia just after completing their Advanced Level examination. We process this university transfer programme by partnering with the Nawaloka College, Metropolitan College, Wisdom Business Academy and Ca-school of Accounting and Business to allow students in completing a part of their higher education study programme in Sri Lanka and transferring to an Australian university to complete the programme .
: Can you explain more about going that extra mile for Sri Lankan students in Australia?
We are working with an Australian company; Potensure who is handling the on-shore services for our students. Their service includes from the point of airport pick up, accommodation, transport, part-time jobs, etc. What special about Jeewa is, we never make our students feel alone in Australia. We have our own celebrations with the on-shore students as Awurudu events, Get-togethers, Student nights and many more. Our two offices in Australia: Melbourne & Brisbane, too make it easier for us to take care of our students in any issue individually.
:What is the purpose and expectation of pioneering Australian Education Roadshow here in Sri Lanka?
We pioneered Australian Education Roadshow(aer) as yet another milestone in our journey of 15 years to create a platform for all Sri Lankan students to achieve their higher education dream with a global qualification. AER was introduced for the 1st time in Sri Lanka as the only educational expo to cover 3 distinct areas of the country in 3 consecutive days. It offers all participants direct detailed information and service sessions conducted by university representatives and expert counseors coming from 30+ leading Australian Universities.
This year's AER will commence on 14th September at Galle: Halle De Galle from 2 pm to 6 pm, 15th September at Colombo: Mövenpick Hotel from 12 pm to 6 pm, 16th September at Kandy: Queens Hotel from 12 pm to 5 pm. The students will be educated with in-depth details of the courses and degrees (Bachelors, MSC, PH.D.) in a number of study streams directly from the Australian representatives.
