Leading industry experts to guide business managers
Acclivity Training announced that an eminent panel of speakers is coming together to provide guidance to managers and aspiring managers on business skills that are essential for the day-to-day running of an organisation.
The programme covers a wide range of topical subjects and is structured in five pillars that are covered by five half-day sessions in Colombo.
The first pillar would be corporate finance and taxation, which will be led by Commercial Bank PLC Chief Financial Officer Nandika Buddhipala and Ernst and Young Partner Duminda Hulangamuwa, respectively.
The second pillar on big data, customers and supply chain will be led by Virtusa Associate Architect Data Science Selvendra Selvarajah, Management and Marketing Consultant and Senior Lecturer Prasanna Perera and Brandix Apparals Ltd Group Head Supply Chain Chathura Dissanayake, respectively.
The third pillar on managing human capital and digitalization and cyber will be led by Dialog Axiata PLC Group Human Resources Ashanthi Fernando and Finetech Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd - Google Cloud Partner Director and Chief Executive Officer Clehan Pulle.
The fourth pillar on the legal aspects of business, employment regulations and corporate governance will be led by Tokyo Cement Chairman Dr. Harsha Cabral (PC), Employers’ Federation of Ceylon Director General Kanishka Weerasinghe and Management Systems (Pvt.) Ltd Chairman Asite Talwatte, respectively.
The final session on the Sri Lankan economy, banking and capital markets will be led by Development Strategies and International Trade Ministry Advisor Anushka Wijesinha, HNB PLC Chief Operation Officer Dilshan Rodrigo and Colombo Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer Rajeeva Bandaranaike, respectively.
Acclivity Training says that participants have the option of attending all the pillars and obtain certificate of participation or attending selected pillars. Registrations will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
