When students enrol at Mercury for the ACCA programme they have the opportunity of obtaining a BSC degree as well an MSC in just 3 years, which is exclusive for Mercury students.
CAREER PATHWAYS – BSC. + ACCA + MSC.
Students can opt to do the BSC Degree in Applied Accounting from the Oxford Brookes University after completing 9 papers of the ACCA programme which involves the submission of a research and analysis thesis and is awarded the degree class by averaging out the marks of the ACCA papers and the grading on the Research project. In a period of one and a half years of commencing ACCA, a student can complete the required examinations and course work in-order to obtain their BSC Degree in Applied Accounting for the Oxford Brookes University - UK.
Alternatively, students can choose to follow a degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Accounting or Digital Innovation from the University of London with Academic Direction from the London School of Economics (LSE- Rank 25th in the world in 2018 by the Times World University Rankings) whilst doing the ACCA programme, or join the ACCA professional programme upon completion of the BSC degree from the University of London through the exemption pathway (with exemptions up to 9 subjects). Students will be then equipped with both a professional and academic qualifications and be better prepared to face the real-world challenges in the corporate world to stand out in the eyes of Employers.
There after students can progress to obtain a Masters from the University of London with Academic Direction from the University College London (UCLRANK 16th in the world in 2018 by the Times World University Rankings) in a period of just 6 months. By the mere age of just 21, Mercury moulds the student into becoming a complete finance professional who is in demand by employers globally.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGH ACHIEVERS
The 2018 Scholarship Programme for high achievers is now open. Students who have excelled in sports, academics or any other extra-curricular activities at their school can send in their application to secure a scholarship for any of the undergraduate programs at mercury.
FAST TRACK PROGRAMME
Mercury Institute has introduced a special fast-track programme for the foundation stage of ACCA, where students are able to obtain an ACCA Diploma in Business and Accounting in a period of just 3 months.
