PSD are Police Athletic Champions

With an overall tally of 399 points the President’s Security Division (PSD) emerged overall Champions at the 81st Inter Division Police Athletic Meet and with it took possession of the President’s Challenge Cup at the Police Grounds.

The Special Task Force with a total of 314 points was the runner-up team and won the Prime Minister’s Challenge Cup.

Osmond de Silva Challenge Shield for the best performance in the Women’s Jump Events – P.G. Sachithra.

Rockwood Challenge Cup for the overall performance in the outstation’s Champion Team - Kurunegala.

Stanley Senanayake Challenge Cup for the best performance in the Male track events – R.A.D.H. Kumara.

Cyril Herath Challenge Cup for the best performance in Women’s Field Events – P.G. Sachithra.

C.C. Disanayake Challenge Cup for the best performance in the Men’s Field Events – J.G.S. Wijetunga.

S. Vamadeven Challenge Cup for the best performance by a Female at the Meet – S.H. Jayakantha.
