The 37-year-old reality star recruited sisters Kourtney
Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to prank their mom, Kris Jenner, for the debut episode—released on Saturday.
‘I’m going to an art gallery. My kids are going to have an earbud in my ear and they’re going to be telling me what to say. Pray for me, please,’ Kris said just ahead of the prank.
'Am I gorgeous or what?’ she said with the prompting of Kim, Kourtney, and Kendall from a backstage control room. ‘Absolutely,’ Lacy, a real makeup artist, said. ‘Do you want to touch up my lips? The honour is all yours,’ Jenner said with a laugh.
After scaring off Lacy, Kris headed into the art gallery to meet Dave—the fake gallery owner.
‘I’m so happy to be here and to honour you guys with my presence,’ Kris said.
The KUWTK star was also introduced to Laura, a gallery volunteer unaware of the prank, who was instructed to follow Jenner around with a bottle of hand sanitiser. Moments later, Dave was on stage giving a speech. ‘Cezanne, Van Gogh, Monet, these creative minds have challenged conventions. Artists like this don’t come along often,’ he said. ‘And today we are premiering such an artist. Ladies and gentlemen would you please give a warm reception to Kris Jenné.’ Shocked, Kris joined the fake gallery owner on stage to give a speech written by Kim. ‘I’ve been painting my entire life. First it was water colours in grade school and then it was my nails in high school and now it’s real paint on canvas,’ she said.
The fake gallery owner then revealed Jenner’s three paintings: Selfie Goddess, Chariots Of Desire, and French Krissing.
‘I get very inspired by myself,’ she said before an art critic jumped in.
‘I’m with Art Conflict Magazine. I’m just trying to understand, how is this art? I find it hard to believe you’re a real artist,’ the hired actor said.
‘Nobody talks to Kris Jenner that way. Hashtag Jenné,’ she said as her daughters prompted her to retaliate by pushing over a red sculpture. Jenner was then escorted to the back room by Laura, who was clearly frazzled. ‘Don’t they know who I am?’ Kris said.
‘Let it out,’ Laura said in response to Jenner’s anger. ‘I just want to do something to make myself feel better,’ Kris said as she destroyed her snack table. ‘I’m so glad you’re here, Laura. Can I have a hug? Can you sanitise me?’ To Laura’s surprise, Kris then yelled: ‘Now get the f**k out of here. Kisses!’
Following her outburst, Kris joined her daughters in the control room.
