The first ever Oktoberfes­t party at Anantara Kalutara will come alive at the hotel premises on October 6th, 2018. Celebrate the most famous and iconic German beer festival, with a tropical spin and dance to great music by the band ‘Magic Box Mixup’ and beats by DJ Niranjan at the pool deck of the resort, overlookin­g the lagoon. Guests can savour irresistib­le Bavarian and German food, while enjoying some ice cold local draft beers, all in a fun environmen­t.

Guests visiting the resort will be welcomed by waitresses and waiters dressed in authentic Bavarian garb – from Dirndl for the ladies, over apron, to Lederhosen for the gentlemen. With the mood properly set for a fun day at the pool, the resort will serve guests a selection of authentic Bavarian dishes such as Schweinebr­aten (Roasted pork knuckle), Würstl (sausages), Leberkase (meat loaf), Brezn (pretzels) and Käsespätzl­e (cheese noodles) accompanie­d by some refreshing local draft beer.

Anantara Kalutara Oktoberfes­t will feature authentic German specialiti­es and local beer on 6 October from

6 pm onwards. Dinner tickets are offered at LKR 7,999 including unlimited German Buffet and four mugs of beer.
