MARK WAHLBERG SAYS ‘I LOVE YOU BUDDY’
Mark Wahlberg dropped by to support the launch of DJ Khaled's new Air Jordan 3 shoes, dubbed ‘Father of Asahd 3' and ‘Another One 3.' The actor and noted sneakerhead, 47, showed up to the DJ Khaled x Jordan Brand Unveiling of The Father of Asahd and Another One event in Los Angeles on Monday, and on Tuesday, he popped up on Khaled's Instagram in a video praising the kicks.
‘Wow, the We the Best 3's and the Father of Asahd 3's, the suede and the leather, I think that's satin right there,' the Mile 22 star said.
Khaled, you're the best,' Wahlberg continued. ‘I know you got your Wahlburger 4s, I've got my 3's. You are the best. I love you buddy, thank you.' Wahlberg then had a message to Reggie Saunders, Brand Jordan's senior director of entertainment marketing.
Reggie, it's time for my new redesign, the 2019's, come on,' the Daddy's Home 2 star added. ‘Michael, let's go. We've got to get back to the lab in Oregon. We're tinkering, the whole team. I need my new shoes.'
Wahlberg first teamed up with Nike and Brand Jordan in January 2017. The actor showed off the Wahlburger 4s at the grand opening of the new Wahlburgers restaurant at the Mall of America in Minnesota, according to Sole Collector.
While the Wahlburgers shoes aren't available to the public quite yet, DJ Khaled's Father of Asahd 3's and Another One 3's will be exclusively available on the rapper's We the Best website.
After the big sneaker unveiling on Monday, Khaled, 42, then took to the stage on Tuesday, performing at 1 Night, $1 Million, 10 States, 100s Of Victories With Eric Garcetti, Jimmy Kimmel, And Dj Khaled in Los Angeles.
