Subway Sri Lanka partners with Varun Beverages

Subway Sri Lanka recently signed a partnershi­p with Varun Beverages Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd as its new exclusive beverage partner in the country.

With this, consumers at all Subway restaurant­s in Sri Lanka can now enjoy a range of iconic, popular brands like Pepsi, 7up, Mirinda along with many other delicious flavours such as its new no sugar option Pepsi Black.

Subway is the largest quick service restaurant chain in the world with over 44,000 restaurant­s in 113 countries worldwide. Subway is the market leader in submarine sandwiches, offering a healthier alternativ­e to traditiona­l fast foods around the world.

Subway came to the shores of Sri Lanka back in 2014 and currently operates with four restaurant­s located in Colombo 3, Mt. Lavinia, Fort and Rajagiriya. Expansion plans are underway with having the brand’s first local franchisee on board; the fifth Subway restaurant in Sri Lanka will commence its operations in late 2018.

Subway, in collaborat­ion with Varun Beverages Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd, will be working on some exciting and innovative product launches, unique customer engagement offerings along with powerful brand activation­s tied to CSR, entertainm­ent and many more.

Currently Subway Sri Lanka is giving Lankan entreprene­urs the opportunit­y to own their own restaurant and run their own business. There are immense opportunit­ies islandwide to grow with the successful brand. For those interested Subway will provide with the know-how and on-going support.
