HEMSWORTH REVEALS...

-

Chris Hemsworth, 35, has revealed how his career has suffered as a result of his commitment to the three children he shares with wife Elsa Pataky. In an interview published in GQ Australia's November issue, the Thor actor admitted that he has struggled to maintain a balance between work and family in the past, but doesn't regret giving priority to his children. 'I do wonder sometimes, if we (Hemsworth and wife Elsa) hadn't met, what my career would look like. Have I made decisions based on that? How has that influenced me?' he confessed. There's times when I've thought, 'Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered'. There's definitely a couple of films I could've put way more energy into but I was like, 'No, I'd rather be with my kids'', Chris went on.

I don't regret that but I'm aware,' he continued.

Chris and Elsa are parents to daughter India, six, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, four.

Meanwhile, hunky Chris appears on the cover of GQ Australia's latest issue as well as a spread inside the glossy publication.

The black-and-white editorial photographs show Chris posing in several rugged garments including a faded suede jacket.

In one image he can be seen sitting on the ground barefoot in a black hooded jacket and shorts.

It comes after photos emerged of the mega-mansion Chris and Elsa are building at Broken Head, near Byron Bay, NSW.

It has already been likened to a 'shopping centre' and a 'hospital'.

The construction has received mixed reactions from the public, with many accusing the pair of being hypocritical given their environmentally-conscious reputation.
