The Programme is about how Organizations after a period of success get set in ways that can result in divergence between the demands of the environment and the processes and structures within Organizations need to be adaptable. They also need to rework their operations to take advantage of scale and scope. A strategic orientation wherein operations, boundaries, vendors and markets are understood as they change is an integral part of adaptability. Yet there are given within an organization –its values, and the human beings who make the organization. This implies that change has to be conscious and planned for and consciously managed. Incremental reactive adjustments are rarely good enough to take growing organizations to the next level. Therefore, top managers’ perspectives become important in transforming organizations. Senior managers have to recognize the purpose of the various functional roles, and integrate their strategy across the functional areas of management.

This programme will bring insights from cases of successful transformations covering various dimensions ofstrategy and functions, including operations, and the extant knowledge to enable leaders to bring about the trans-formation of organisations for high performance. Programme Highlights include: The idea of strategy and strategic change.

Organizational processes. Operational strategies for high growth Organizational leadership and change management.

The Pedagogy will be a mix of case studies and discussions. IIMA believes in interactive sessions. A typical day would involve intense classroom sessions, with much prior preparation and syndicate work.
