KALEY CUOCO UNVEILED AS VOICE OF HARLEY QUINN
Kaley Cuoco is the new Harley Quinn. The Big Bang theory star unveiled herself as the voice behind the villainess after debuting her new animated show at new York Comic Con on Wednesday. The teaser shows the Batman baddie in a cell at Arkham Asylum, excitedly and foulmouthedly announcing the upcoming series.
What's up New York? I can't WAIT for you guys to see my new show on DC Universe, you're gonna p*ss yourselves, I promise!' she squeals.
A wider angle reveals a much less enthused Poison Ivy to be her cell mate. 'Uh I think they're gonna hate it Harles,' she mumbles, flicking through a magazine on the bed, before throwing a little shade at DC'S own fans. 'They hate everything.
Harley then slights rival Marvel in her retort: 'No way! it's got comedy, action, incredible gratuitous violence and — unlike that Deadpool cartoon — it's actually coming out.' 'I thought we were supposed to make a show that was super gritty, and bleak, and depressing... you know, like a DC thing,' Ivy asks, continuing to poke fun at her own publisher.
'That is an excellent way to make television and film,' Harley agrees, not entirely convincingly, 'but everyone on my show is going to have fun or I will bash their f*cking heads in!' just then, an upside-down Batman descends to shut her down: 'There's no fun in Arkham, Quinn,' he admonishes.
'Except him,' Ivy points out, while Harley agrees: 'Yeah guy's a real buzzkill.' The show will appear on DC'S new streaming service, DC Universe. Margot Robbie meanwhile will continue to portray the character on the big screen, after her impressive debut in Suicide Squad. DAILY MAIL
