42nd MHA ‘Sevens’ on Sunday
The Mercantile Hockey Association will be conducting its 42nd Annual Men’s Seven-a-side Tournament on Sunday October 21 from 8.00am at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium. Renowned Peoples Leasing PLC, MAS Holdings, DHL and Hilton Colombo are jointly sponsoring this prestigious event.
Teams will be participating in six separate divisions and the cream of Sri Lanka hockey talent will be displaying their skills to bring honour to their respective establishments. The Chief Guest for the event will be Major General Shavendra Silva, Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army. The Guest of Honour for the event will be Sajith Madhawa, Marketing Manager – Business Development, DHL.

The winners will be given the challenge trophies and 16 replicas while the MHA will be awarding Cups to the outstanding Players in all six divisions. The Mercantile Hockey Association will present cash awards to the winners from ‘A’ to ‘F’ divisions respectively in addition to the replicas.
