DOUBTING THOMASES

The World could be a happier place without these doubting Thomas types. If one identifies them it would be best to get rid of them from your circle unless they reveal the truth.

There are many troublemakers amongst us and also many envious around us too. One comes across this type of person all along but one has to carry on our lives and in actual fact cannot be bothered about these petty people who act like the paragon of virtue whilst all the rest are nasty. Recently chatting with a friend who I was freely talking about all sorts of things mentioned of how some people have warned her not to trust all who are around her. The lady of course has had her fair share of deceitful friends around her like most of us, the valid point she brought up was why warn people about who is lurking around them and not to trust them and not naming them.

In that case you might as well not warn them. A true friend should have the guts and decency to say who the individuals are. A warning without naming is just trying to make you doubt everyone around you or it seems like stirring up trouble in a clique.

Name and shame is the only way, I have a policy if anybody comes with this type of warning and not naming I ask them to stop this rigmarole and change the subject. If they do tell me the name which loyal friends do I will call the culprit or confront them immediately and sort it out. No point getting doubt in one’s mind. We all have many people hanging around us and we must know how many of them are actual friends and wish them well, the others could be called doubting Thomases and nobody really cares of what they think or say of you.
