Shevon helps St. Joseph’s make 341

Shevon Daniel cracked a fine 116 with 15 boundaries and three sixes to help St. Joseph’s College reach a formidable 341 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their Under-19 Inter-schools Cricket Tournament match against Maliyadeva College played at Darley Road yesterday.

Meanwhile, half centuries by Adithya Siriwarden­a and Vimud Sapnaka helped Richmond College make 277 for eight declared against Ananda College in their match played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Hambantota.
