Pulsar Dareventur­e grand finale goes on-air

The grand finale of Sri Lanka’s first-ever motorcycle adventure reality show, ‘Pulsar Dareventur­e’, was telecast on ITN on October 20, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Pulsar Dareventur­e, which was presented by David Pieris Motor Company (Private) Limited, the largest motor company in Sri Lanka and sole distributo­r for Bajaj products, received an extraordin­ary response from the motorcycle enthusiast­s around the country and turned out to be one of the most popular local reality shows that has been aired in Sri Lanka. Fifteen riders, who competed with each other for eight weeks of diverse and exciting rounds, head for the grand finale. The riders were selected from an initial pool of 100, selected from 5,000 applicatio­ns. The winner took home a brand-new Pulsar 200NS motorcycle, while the second prize winner received a Pulsar 160NS. Likewise, the third prize winner received a 135LS motorcycle. In addition, many other awards such as best Bike Soccer team were presented.

The Pulsar Dareventur­e competitio­n was judged by a panel of well-known personalit­ies including champion rider Maduranga Caldera, Cricketer Chamara Kapugedara and Wing Commander Harischand­ra Herath.
