Josephian Confuocco – III Band Fiesta

The Versatile St. Joseph’s College Western band will stage a grand musical performance named “Josephian Confuocco – III” band Fiesta at the Sports Complex of the college on Saturday 27th October from 5.30 p.m. onwards. The members of the band comprising 35 have been rehearsing with a great deal of dedication says the Master-in-charge Mr. Jude Dixon Vas, since a presentation of such a nature is taking place after a lap of ten years.

All music arrangements are by T.F. Greecy a multi instrumentalist who has been their instructor from last year onwards. Music lovers could look forward to a delightful afternoon of music from young talent. St. Joseph’s has invited other schools to participate and seven school bands will

be on stage to enthrall you. The bands are from St. Peter’s College, Royal College, St. Benedict’s College, St. Paul’s Girls School Milagiriya, St. Bridget’s Convent and Holy Family Convent, Colombo.

There will be variety of items and soloists will be backed by the respective school bands.

All the present and past members of the college western band are working hard with the support and encouragement of their Rector, Rev. Fr. Travis Gabriel and the Priest-incharge Rev. Fr. Chanaka Jansz.
