Trelleborg Lanka wins at Presidential Environmental Awards 2018
Trelleborg Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd recently won at the prestigious Presidential Environmental Awards 2018, for contribution towards promoting green practices and environmental sustainability.
At the 2018 awards ceremony, Trelleborg Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd won a Bronze award showcasing top-level environmental sustainability practices and exceptional contribution towards driving organisational performance through sound environmental and green management practices.
The organisation received a Merit award in 2017, hence this is the second consecutive year in which the company has been consistently recognised for its contribution to environment. Organised by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA), the Presidential Environmental Awards is organised to appreciate the eagerness of industries, service sector organisations and individuals towards environmental conservation and protection, while sustaining their active involvement in the long run for a clean and green Sri Lanka. The awards ceremony was held at the BMICH under the patronage of the President.
