Ayubo.life signs on as wellness partner for Corporate Health and Productivity Awards

-

Sri Lanka’s leading smart phone health and fitness App Ayubo.life signed on as principle wellness partner for the first ever Sri Lanka Corporate Health and Productivity Awards 2018 in order to formulate criteria for promoting healthy choices among corporates.

Organised by the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) in partnership with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETCO), the event amounts to the first time that the island’s diverse corporate community is being brought together for the sole purpose of raising awareness and encouraging health and productivity management programmes at an enterprise level.

“Making the right choices where health and wellness is concerned has not been a priority for most employees in the corporate sector. Our research indicates that 35 percent of corporate employees have a high BMI with 47 percent being at risk of obesity. We understand that corporates require access to curative as well as preventive solutions instead of traditional wellness models. This has driven us to serve as principle wellness partners to Sri Lanka’s diverse corporate community. In this manner we hope to create a healthy environment for the entire corporate community,” Ayubo. life Chief Operating Officer Dr. Chamila Ariyananda said.

Understanding that corporates require access to curative and preventive solutions, Ayubo.life brings together healthcare and wellness under one comprehensive mobile application. Ayubo.life guides corporate employees through a wellness journey that creates knowledge and awareness, thereby enabling the individual to assess their health and wellness status, and empower them to make positive changes.

Notably, the app also enables users to further their wellness journey by engagement in corporate activations, connecting with wellness experts and subscribing to wellness programmes.

COYLE is a business chamber with 120 top young Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, who comprise of business owners and entrepreneurs with an extensive national and international business network working with government officials, policy makers and the community to support and build the community.

JETRO is a government related organisation that works towards promoting mutual trade between Japan and the rest of the world.

Ayubo.life is a lifestyle, health and fitness app, providing a comprehensive platform for all who need to stay healthy. The app connects multiple healthcare services, stores family medical records, facilitates on-demand consultations with doctors on video, keeps a record of workouts, while partnering with experts in the wellness industry to provide online wellness solutions. Ayubo. life is owned and operated by Digital Healthcare Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd, a company funded and supported by Hemas Holdings PLC.
